Live Pet Portraits @ Windystock!

  • Windyway Windyway Head Farm, Buxton Old Rd, SK11 0AP (map)

Windystock is a one day family-friendly (and dog friendly!) music festival held in the hills Macclesfield, in the fields adjacent to Windyway Animal Sanctury & Rescue.

Raising funds for the Windyway Trust, the festival offers an amazing line-up of local bands and acts, great food and drink stalls, and much more! You can find out more on the official Windystock website or over on their socials.

I will be popping up for the day with my stall - I will be offering live silly illustrations, with a portion of funds raised going right back to Windyway!
Send me a photo to draw from, or ask me to draw an animal, and I will oblige. The illustrations take approximately 20 minutes to complete will be £15 each.
I will also be selling my greeting cards, prints, and a selection of original artworks!

Windyway Animal Sanctuary has always been close to my heart. I remember visiting for my Year 5 project when I was 9 years old - the project had to be about something we loved, and for me that was cats!
And then in 2013, I visited the sanctuary to film a documentary I was making as a part of my University coursework. Everyone there was so wonderful, and willing to dedicate their time to be a part of it. I will forever be grateful for the part they have played in my life, and the part they continue to play in the community. ☺️

They are a wonderful charity, and I encourage you to read about the wonderful things they do!

Welcome to the Windyway Trust, a dedicated charity (Registered Charity No. 1108111) born in February 2005 from a shared passion for animal welfare right here in Macclesfield, Cheshire. We believe every animal deserves care, compassion, and a chance for a happy life.

Our mission is simple: to relieve the suffering of animals in need. This commitment drives everything we do, from directly supporting the vital work of the Windyway Animal Sanctuary (Windyway Animal Rescue Centre) – rescuing, rehabilitating, and lovingly rehoming unwanted, sick, or mistreated dogs, cats, and other animals – to extending our support to the heroic Search and Rescue dogs of the Peak District Mountain Rescue Teams. https://windywaytrust.org/about-us/
