Graphite Portraits
My roots lie in Graphite Portraiture - these highly detailed pieces are intricately crafted over the course of many weeks using a mix of graphite, charcoal, and ink. Pets, people, places, or anything in between - if you have a photo, I can draw it.
Prices start from £110.
With over ten years of experience in this medium, it’s a skill I’ve refined deeply, and one I continue to push further with every commission.
Each portrait I create is my best attempt to do better than my last.
It all starts with a photo.
I work entirely from photographs, so the better the reference provided, the more character I can capture.
If you have one perfect shot that you would like me to work from - wonderful!
If you have several, even better; they help me get to know your subject and ensure I’m truly capturing them, and not just a likeness.
If you can’t find that perfect image - don’t worry!
I can work with what you already have, make adjustments, or combine multiple photos to create something entirely unique - so there's no need to worry that you haven't got one photo with everyone in it!
Send me the best images you have, and I'll edit them together into some designs for you to review.
And if you’re unsure whether a photo is good enough, just ask.
I can sometimes work from lower-quality or older images too - though this does lend itself to a slightly different style of portrait, which can be just as beautiful in its own right:
